Unlimited plans include unlimited AI usage, with nothing metered or charged per action. On the lifetime Founders Pass, Claude Sonnet stays unlimited, and from October 7, 2026 Claude Opus and Claude Fable use credits like every other plan.
Top-up packs
Add credits any time from Settings → Billing: $5 to $1,000 on a paid plan, or up to $25 in total on the free plan. Purchased credits are used after your monthly allotment runs out.
You choose which Claude model powers your chat. Models use credits at different rates for the same work, shown beside each one.

Each charge reflects how much work the AI actually did. A message in a long conversation, a request that reads several documents, or a turn that runs legal research uses more credits than a short question. Model choice matters too: models use credits at different rates for the same work, and the Models section above shows each one's rate.

AI features pause until your monthly allotment refreshes. You can keep working in the meantime — uploading, organizing, and editing never use credits. To continue right away, add a top-up pack or upgrade your plan in Settings → Billing.
