Zoom Integration

How to add, use, and remove the Zoom integration for Prosei AI.

Effective: September 5, 2026

1. What the Integration Does#

Prosei AI is a case management tool for people representing themselves in court. A case in Prosei has a calendar, and that calendar holds both deadlines and meetings: court hearings, mediations, depositions, and attorney meetings.

Connecting Zoom lets Prosei create a Zoom meeting for one of those calendar entries, and store its join link and passcode with the rest of that case's record. The point is that the details sit where the person is already working on their case, rather than in a separate inbox they have to search on the morning of a hearing.

Connecting is optional. Prosei works without it — a meeting can always be added by pasting a link from any provider.

2. Requirements#

You need:

  • A Prosei AI account on a paid plan.
  • A Zoom account you can sign in to.

The connection is per-user. Connecting your Zoom account affects only your own Prosei account, and no one else in an organization gains access to it.

3. Adding the App#

  1. Sign in to Prosei AI.
  2. Open Settings from the account menu, then choose Zoom in the left-hand list.
  3. Select Connect Zoom. You are taken to Zoom to sign in and review what Prosei is asking for.
  4. Approve the request. Zoom returns you to Prosei, and the Zoom section in Settings now shows the connected account's email address.

If the connection does not complete, Prosei shows the reason on that same Settings page rather than leaving you on an error page at Zoom.

4. Using It#

  1. Open a case and go to the Calendar tab.
  2. Select New, then Meeting. You can also open a specific day and choose Add Meeting for This Day.
  3. Fill in the title, date and time, and set the platform to Zoom.
  4. With Zoom connected, you can have Prosei create the Zoom meeting for you, and it fills in the join link and passcode. Otherwise, paste a link you already have.
  5. Save. The meeting appears on the case calendar and in the upcoming list, with a Join button that opens the call in Zoom.

5. Removing the App#

There are two ways, and either one fully disconnects.

From Prosei: go to Settings → Zoom and select Disconnect. Prosei deletes the stored Zoom credentials.

From Zoom: in the Zoom App Marketplace, open Manage → Added Apps, find Prosei AI, and select Remove. Zoom notifies Prosei, and Prosei deletes the stored credentials automatically. You do not need to do anything in Prosei afterwards.

Disconnecting does not delete your meetings. The entries stay on your case calendar with their links intact; Prosei simply can no longer create new Zoom meetings for you.

6. What Prosei Accesses#

With Zoom connected, Prosei can:

  • Read your Zoom profile, to show which account is connected and label it in Settings.
  • Create Zoom meetings on your behalf, when you ask it to.

Prosei does not read the contents of your meetings. It does not access recordings, transcripts, or chat, and it does not join meetings.

Zoom credentials are encrypted before they are stored, and they are deleted when you disconnect by either method above. For how Prosei handles data generally, see the Privacy Policy and the security overview.

7. Support#

If something here does not work as described, contact us at team@prosei.ai or see the support page. Tell us what you expected and what happened instead, and we will look at the specific account.

Prosei AI is a self-help tool. It is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, and is not a substitute for a licensed attorney.
